Tajirun ("we," "us") is built around sales calls. That means we handle recordings, transcripts, and the notes that come off them, alongside the usual account and billing information. This page explains what we collect, why, and what rights you have over it. It applies to you if you're a Tajirun customer, a user on a customer's team, or someone whose voice ends up on a call we process on a customer's behalf.

1. Who this covers

If you're the business signing up for Tajirun, you're the "Customer" and we're processing your account data as outlined below. If you're a rep on a Customer's team, or a prospect/client on the other end of a recorded call, your Customer controls that data and directs how it's used — we process it on their behalf. Questions about a specific recording should generally go to the business that made the call.

2. What we collect

  • Account info: name, email, company, role, what you sell, and billing details (handled by our payment processor — we don't store full card numbers).
  • Call data: audio/video recordings, transcripts, call metadata (duration, participants, timestamps), and any notes, scores, or tags generated from a call.
  • Usage data: log data, device/browser info, and product analytics on how the app is used.
  • Integrations: data pulled from tools you connect (e.g. your CRM, dialer, or calendar), limited to what's needed to set up and run the product.

3. Recording consent

Call recording laws (like two-party/all-party consent rules in some US states and similar requirements elsewhere) are the Customer's responsibility to comply with — Tajirun isn't a party to your calls. We provide tools (e.g. a configurable recording disclosure) to help, but you're responsible for getting proper consent from everyone on the call before recording.

4. How we use it

To set up and run the product, generate transcripts/summaries/coaching insights, provide support, improve reliability and features, send service communications, and meet legal and security obligations. We do not sell call data, and we do not use your recordings or transcripts to train models we make available to other customers or the public.

5. Who sees it

Access to call content is limited to your own team's permissions inside the product, plus Tajirun staff and contractors who need it to build or support your setup (e.g. debugging a transcript issue). We share data with:

  • Infrastructure and processing vendors (hosting, storage, transcription/AI providers, analytics, payments) under contracts that restrict them to providing the service — see our subprocessor list at [LINK] for the current vendors involved in processing call data.
  • Integrations you explicitly connect.
  • Authorities, if legally required, or a successor entity in a merger or acquisition (with notice to you).

6. Retention

We keep recordings, transcripts, and derived notes for as long as your account is active, or as configured in your plan's retention settings. When you delete a recording or close your account, we remove it from active systems within [X days] and from backups on our normal backup cycle.

7. Your rights

You can request a copy of what we hold on you or your account, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask us to restrict certain processing — write us from the contact page and we'll act on it. Depending on where you live (e.g. under GDPR or CCPA/CPRA), you may have additional rights; we'll honor applicable ones regardless of location where we reasonably can.

8. Security

We encrypt data in transit and at rest, restrict internal access on a need-to-know basis, and review our practices regularly. No system is 100% secure, but we treat call content as sensitive by default.

9. International transfers

We may process and store data in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for those transfers.

10. Children

Tajirun isn't directed at anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.

11. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we'll notify account admins by email or in-product notice before they take effect.

12. Contact

Questions, access requests, or deletion requests: reach us from the contact page, or email [PRIVACY EMAIL]. Our mailing address is [ADDRESS].
